With effect from 1st July 2002, all patients admitted to community
hospitals can apply for subsidy under the means test framework.
However, only Singapore citizens and permanent residents who
are residing in HDB or HUDC flats qualify for means testing.
Choice of ward accommodation will depend on the level of subsidy
granted after means testing. No subsidies are provided for our B1
and A Class Wards.
If you are a Singapore citizen and managed by our resident doctors, you may opt out from the allocated
accommodation. All other procedures, investigations and medication will be itemised and payable based on the Class of
your accommodation.
If you are a non-resident in Singapore or managed by a private doctor, you may opt for Single or 4-bedded
accommodation. All other procedures, investigations and medication will be itemised and payable at Single
bedded rate.
