| Launch of CSR Programme with Child@ Street 11 |

Ang Mo Kio -Thye Hua Kwan Hospital recently tied up with Child at Street 11, as part of its continuing efforts to serve the community.
This year-long partnership will bring staff volunteers and these children together as they make visits to educational places such as the Army Museum.
Based on a theme of "When I Grow Up", the trips will give the children opportunities to learn about different careers.

| Reaching Out Series : Talk on Dementia |

The Hospital collaborated with the Alzheimer's Disease Association to conduct a talk for the public about Dementia.
The talk which was aimed at creating greater awareness about Dementia. The participants found the session highly informative and useful.

| FLINT I - The Long Journey: Stress and Coping Skills of Family Caregivers |

The event which is part of the Hospital's outreach initiative, brought together over 20 organisations from the social service sector.
As part of the session, participants were treated to a talk by Assoc. Professor Kalyani Metha from the NUS Department of Social Work,
who provided an insightful look at the issues and profiles of caregivers in Singapore.

| AWWA Caregivers Week Exhibition |

The Hospital set up a booth as part of the AWWA Caregivers Fair. The theme for the event was "Share The Care: You Are Not Alone. The Hospital provided
resources and referral opportunities for caregivers as part of the event. The Hospital also nominated Madam Goh Boon Kwee,
a caregiver of a patient at the Hospital for the 'Model Caregiver Award'.

| Participation in NCSS 50th Anniversary Carnival |

The Carnival was organised to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the formation of the NCSS. The Hospital joined in the
celebrations by setting up a booth featuring information about its services at the Carnival. PM Lee was the Guest of Honour at the
event which attracted over 20,000 people over the two day period.

| Nurses Day Celebrations |

The Hospital was a hive of activity for about a week as a slew of events were rolled out to celebrate Nurses' Day
that fell on 1st August 2009. The festivities culminated with a Celebration on 30 July 2009.

| Launch of 'Service From the Heart' Workshop Series |
May 2008 |
The We Care Team, comprising of a group of Hospital staff across all disciplines and departments who champion service excellence
at the Hospital, developed a workshop series aimed at all staff in the Hospital. Adopting an interactive approach with role-plays and
presentations, participants learnt the fundamental skills in customer service amidst much laughter.
